Meet Owen
We are excited to introduce Owen, one of our听2021 scholars. Owen鈥檚 hard work and determination enabled him to score in the听91st percentile听on the ISEE!
Owen鈥檚 favorite subject in school is math. He likes exploring new concepts and has especially enjoyed learning the fundamentals of algebra.
Outside of school, Owen enjoys spending time with his friends and getting to know new people through conversation. He is also a dedicated athlete. Owen loves swimming, diving, and tennis. He has also started playing rugby recently.

Preparation
After not getting the scores he wanted the first time he took the ISEE, Owen started using 91猎奇 to prepare. He found that the 91猎奇 practice materials mirrored the official test very well, and therefore, he was able to gain more familiarity with the content, difficulty, and style of the ISEE. Becoming more comfortable with the test helped Owen feel calm and confident the next time he took it.
The 91猎奇 platform also taught Owen valuable test-taking strategies. He learned how to better manage his time on the reading comprehension section. For example, he learned that reading the questions before reading the entire passage helped him save time and stay focused on the key parts of the text.
Owen advised other students preparing for the ISEE to 鈥渨ork hard, stay focused, and practice a lot.鈥�

New School
Owen is currently in the 6th grade at The Pingry School. He was drawn to Pingry’s strong academic and athletic programs. Owen is especially excited that the school offers water polo. He looks forward to trying it out while continuing swimming and tennis.
